You are unique! There has never been anyone quite like you, and there never will be. The Bible says that God knew you before you were in the womb, even before the creation of the world. I hope that the words and pictures on these pages speak to your eternal identity.
Jesus said that he would return like lightning that flashes from one end of the sky to the other. He is also known as the Word, and words of truth can flash into our hearts like lightning.
Jesus very often spoke in parables, using images and scenes from everyday life to illuminate truth in his day. God is still speaking, and it is my hope that these examples from everyday life will also convey truth and illumination.
I'm honored that you choose to trust me with a portion of your time and attention, and I hope that I can repay that choice in some measure by fresh words and images. I plan to post a Flash (a picture and short observation) two to three times each week.
I also have a section under the heading, “Wider Horizon,” that speaks more conversationally about truths that are continuing to widen my own horizon. May these images and writings be a catalyst for the unique way that your horizon is expanding.
